Featuring two female HDMI ports the HDMI Repeater is used to join two HDMI cables to make a longer connection than is possible using a single passive HDMI cable. With support for both HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 the Repeater is suitable for use with modern Ultra HD 4K content in addition to existing Full HD 1080p signals.

The Repeater is capable of supporting up to 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and supports the following cable distances when using LINDY Gold HDMI cables using lower grade cables will reduce the possible cable lengths:
4K 3840x2160p60 35m: 15m In / 20m Out (4:2:0 8 bit per channel)
4K 3840x2160p30 35m: 15m In / 20m Out (4:4:4 8 bit per channel)
1080p60/1080p 3D 50m: 20m In / 30m Out (4:4:4 8 bit per channel)
