The 99CDL-80 range of "SuperSpeed USB" Type A (male) to Type B (male) cables support a data transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), which is about ten times faster than USB 2.0 technology.

This is a standard Type A to B cable; it is designed to connect a Host to a Device. The Host (A) connection will connect to a computer/laptop and the Device (B) connection is commonly found on external hard drives, docking stations and USB hubs.
